Through the visual and real -time analysis of the robot, Softwear can observe the fabric more accurately than the human eye, and track the sewing needle position with a maximum half millimeter error.

There are also four -axis robotic arms and vacuum suction cups on some systems, so that the fabric can be flattened and placed in the need.

Considering the fabric folding, line defects, irregular corners, etc., the robot must have a mature algorithm. Moreover, the imaging system is very fast.

In order to solve this problem, the team also equipped the SEWBOT robot with a high -precision image recognition system. It can capture more than 1,000 frames of images per second, and then detect and analyze each frame of images through algorithms to accurately find the position of the line on the fabric.

Softwear also developed a robotic manipulator, which can simulate the work of the sewing machine operator.

The operator will use his fingers to handle the fabric. These operators are controlled by accurate linear asponers. They can guide the fabric to accurately pass through the sewing machine, and the accuracy reaches the sub -millimeter level to prevent the material from distorting the materials.

At present, the automation of the textile and clothing industry often has high targetedness. They can only automate a certain process, mainly involving some very simple tasks in laser cutting fabrics or automatic sewing machines.

Now, the unique design of the SEWBOT robot can allow it to independently complete the fabric to sew, or use other materials to sew pattern on the surface of the fabric.
